Anyone gotten it up to 470/470 to get Asus and Acer quality benchmarks?

I'm just curious since this seems to be what my folks are springing for most and I like gaming, mostly MMO's but I'd love to be able to run higher end games at good qualities...

Any particular threats to the X1600 with OCing on the MBP besides heat?

I'm not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if the X1600 in the MBP is undervolted as well as underclocked. You might want to check on this before overclocking.

if you do get it that high, only do it for short periods, and use a cooling pad. i have heard of them getting so hot from OC'ing that they have burnt a table and burnt out the graphics card.

    Link please.

Or is it one of them, I've heard from a friend of mine, who has a dog, that once pissed on a fence, owned by a family, who think they saw someone remotely famous ...

    No pun intended.
