Generally it's best to get video drivers for notebooks at laptopvideo2go. Most of the latest drivers from NVidia's website don't support the mobile graphics chipsets.

    http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/

Basically download the driver and the updated NFO file necessary to make the driver work for your mobile card.

Once you download the driver from LaptopVideo2Go, extract the contents of it into a folder. Than place the INF you downloaded from LaptopVideo2Go into that folder, allowing it to replace the existing one. Than simply browse to "setup.exe" in the driver folder and let it install. I think I'm still using 169.04, as 169.09 wouldn't work properly.

Edit: Before installing this video driver, it's best to uninstall the previous one. Go to Add/Remove programs, and remove "NVidia Drivers". Reboot the machine, than install the newer driver as I described above.

163.44 is a pretty old driver.... I'd download the one of the 169.XX drivers...

Yeah, downloading a newer driver than the one it tells you is a good idea. BTW, can you eventually report back if you ever manage to get to the end, or PM me? I'd be curious to know, because I got to a point where I was not able to continue playing since it kept crashing. I've tried going to a previous save point, but as soon as I get to that part again it crashes and I cannot continue. I've played around with all the settings, used different drivers, but nothing seems to work. Worst $50 I ever spent.

That reminds me of BioShock when you'd reach the fourth of fifth level and it'd crash. Had to use the stock drivers from Apple in order to play through the entire game. At least until the 169.04 driver came out.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like a lot of hardware and software is being released before it's finished these days. Everyone always suggests the same thing. "Don't buy it until they release the first patch."

Bad thing is there's already a patch and it didn't help at all! Just constant screen tearing, stuttering, and crashes! It's insane! Makes me wonder if the devs even TESTED it.

Well officially nVidia doesn't release driver updates for laptop video cards and seems to leave that job to the laptop companies, unless you are talking about the staff behind laptopvideo2go.
