I don't think I have a yellow tint problem.....because its normal for the screen to turn a bit yellowish when looked at from a right or left angle right?
-
That's normal. The native white point is 6500K, which is more yellowish.
The yellow screen problem people complained about was a huge yellow bar at the bottom of their screen. -
yep i have one of those yellow bar at the bottom , recent firmware update didnt help at all , im very frustrated i dont feel like sending it to apple after stories i heard that they didnt fix anything ,
-
Why not just take it to an Apple Store then? They'll swap it right on the spot.

u can ask to check it before u take it too, make sure its ok

How noticeable is the yellow banding? I initially didn't notice anything wrong with the screen on my mbp (checked it out in store, then brought it home). In fact, the display is great. But having been reading so much about the yellow screens lately, I'm starting to think that it does look a bit yellow afterall...or maybe that's just my imagination? I'm assuming that the yellow is VERY noticeable...or maybe on mine it's just a bit more subtle. The viewing angle isn't that hot and when viewed from an angle it's quite yellow (but on a laptop...I only look at it straight on, so that's not an issue).
Normal Yellow Tint Right?
