    No Audio

    I just want to know if somebody knows how to restore my laptop audio, it seems that I deleted the audio files by mistake, I have a Mac Power Book G4

    I am assuming your talking about the system audio files eg ta-da, bell etc
    May not be the best solution but re-installing the OS will fix the problem.

    ps just out of interest how did you manage to delete those files?
    they are pretty well hidden from view thus hard to delete by accident.

    Ok this might be worth a try and a lot faster than re-installing
    If your running leopard (may also work with tiger etc) then HERE are the system aiff files.
    Just expand them and place in "your Hdd">System>Library>Sounds
