This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    i wanted an application that could dim out the rest of the screen and allow me to focus on the foremost appliction that's open AND work on that application while everything else is dimmed...
    unfortunately ... fn+f10 doesn't let one work on your application in that state...


    anyways.... i did some digging around... and i found these two awesome applications...
