    yah, i just read that too, so does that still mean the rumored release date "oct 14" is true? if shipments are happening right now, could we expect the release date to be sooner?

    one can only hope it's true.
    but, this isn't the first and may not be the last rumour to this effect.
    i wouldn't hold my breath...BUT if it is metal (and therefore lighter) and has LED (and therefore nice screen and longer battery life) then I'm right on top of it!

    If this is true, I wonder how closely they'll resemble the MBP? Or what Apple will do to update the MBP to further differentiate the two lines? I'd love to see a little 12" machine something like the old 12" PowerBooks, though I suppose a 13" model would be close enough. fredf, I'll be in line with you. lol
