    Hi guys,
New to Apple section, i am about to buy a Macbook Pro 15 inch as show under my signiture for now. I wonder in my case, should i go for a hi res or standard res.

i do not do anything professional and design. At most CS5. Besides web surfing, email, watch video and sort of that, i do would like to play some games, not much and not hard core games. Mostly like Diablo3 or SC2. i do not play FPS like Crysis, BC2 or MW2. As i learnt from ALIENWARE that lower res will increase fps a little bit than hi res. I also understand Macbook Pro is not a gaming laptop, and i do not expect much from this.

In my opintion, besides gaming, hi res is a no brainer choice once i am comfortable with the font size (i agree that font size on standard res is better than hi res for me, but i can still survive on hi res). Does GT330M w 512MB can still handle games (med or med-high setting) at an acceptable level on hi res. I am not intend to use this laptop outdoor, so i guess glossy screen is ok, right?

    Thanks
