    http://www.appleinsider.com/article...er_ultra_portable_to_get_13_inch_display.html

Site's primarily based on rumour (though that being said most of them ended being true in their case), but still, thinks don't look so hot for the next Macbook refresh. What's worse, there's not a single mentioning of the supposed 15.4" Macbook model.

Doesn't look like I'd be getting an Apple afterall. Sucks considering how much I was anticipating to switch.

Oh and BTW, how many of you believe the "report" to be true anyway?

I would wait for the WWDC taking place in about a month. There' rumors floating about a Black iMac and the S.R. updates.

AppleInsider, and other rumor sites like it, have gotten some things right in their time, but for the most part it's more or less pure speculation and/or wishful thinking. So really, I wouldn't base a decision on anything I read there.

Just wait for WWDC and see what happens there. We'll see if the Macbook gets an update there or if they will update other lines first and wait with the Macbook.

I wouldn't be surprised if the macbooks didn't get SR right away. Apple has always made a difference between the MB and the MBP, and processor speed is one of those things. I'd expect to see the processors that are currently offered in the MBPs to show up in the macbooks.

I hope to see the MacBooks go to Santa Rosa at WWDC, maybe using the t7200 processor while allowing the Pro's to get a higher clock speed. The current MacBooks could benefit greatly from the graphics chip more than anything else with Leopard to be pushing Core Animation like crazy.

Also, releasing some hot new laptop hardware here at WWDC would allow them not only time to get the production line in full swing for Back-To-School but also have a majority those purchasers from now till October turn around and spend more on a Leopard upgrade.

    Maximizing the profits.

I would consider buy an Apple over a Dell if it had a X3100 GPU.
