I purchased a new Macbook Pro today at Frys, got an awesome deal 300$ off 1999$ price but when got home and opened it up it didnt have snow leopard install nore have it in the box to install, I thought it would come with it since its been out a month now. Anyway for me to get it? or do I have to pay for the upgrade
-
the one you bought has been boxed up a long time waiting for someone to buy it... you have to use the uptodate program and get it sent to you for USD $9.95
-
oh okay. 9.95$ I can do that
-
Does that purchase qualify though?

You may have to pay $30! Still it's 10th of what you saved? -
phone apple...there's a high probability that they may send one to you for free.
-
Grats on the new notebook, I just got the 17" and I love it.
-
I would try calling apple also.

-
also, it will be nice to get the snow leopard cd for free (or +shipping). phone apple.
anyway, the point i want to make is that snow leopard currently still to early to use.
they currently still have major bugs.
the most known big one at the moment is how using "guest" account could wiped out ALL user data on ALL account. -
yeah that is a major bug!!!i think there's a turnaround though(delete the account and create it)...but still, it shouldn't be present..

I just said hell with it and bought the upgrade was getting the airport extreme base station and well I just dont like talking on phones do that enough at work.
