well...i just got my new macbook from amazon
i am a little concerned that its either a week 32 or 34 (forgot..and i already packed away the box)
i do enjoy using it...i mean..i think osx has a learning curve to it..and i'll need to learn to get used to it..cause alot of little shortcuts that are in windows are not in osx
i do have one major major issue i have to deal with (actually 2..)
the first is
whenever i start up, i get a flash of somethign...im not sure what it is
but i've booted the macbook a good five times and have had the same result
every single time, before i get the friendly grey apple screen, i have this (i think) blue flash...i've tried holdign down the power button, just quickly pressing the power button, and its still been the exact same thing
any advice?
also...should i be worried about the week in which it was made? and what updates do i need for the macbook?

I would not worry, odds are you will not experience any issues. As for updates, just click the Apple and click software updates.

You can find out the week from the serial number. Isn't the "flash" just the screen turning on? Looks normal to me.

Don't worry and enjoy it -

perhaps
but when i see video's of people turning on their macbook, it usually just goes to the gray screen, no flash in the beginning
