I bought a new MacBook last week at the Apple store, I wanted to upgrade to 4gig's of ram, but they did not have the memory in stock. The manager gave me a voucher for the 4gig kit for $150 (the upgrade price). They have no clue when they will be getting the ram kits in stock and I am getting impatient being told everyday it will be in tomorrow. So now I am looking at ram elsewhere, I have seen 3 kits on Newegg:

    Crucial - $121.98
    Patriot - $159.98
    G. Skill - $117.98

Which of these would be a good upgrade for the MacBook?

Mostly personal preferences. I used no-name brand on my macbook, never suffered any performance issues - and they are cheap.

    cheers ...

Except if they have some special fancy features like heatsinks or better advertised performance or whatever, I don't think there's a big performance difference. Consider the reputation of the brand and the warranty maybe...
