I use a chat site for work that uses Java and when i access it it puts me into HTML, any thoughts on how to get it to work?

I also plan on changing the hard drive to something bigger so i can use parallels so i can use my windows with the computer, my question is will boot camp be better, and what size hard drive will this computer support?

Which site is it? OS X should have full support for Java web applets, so if your software is up to date, this should not be a problem. Perhaps you want to try a different browser.

Boot Camp will give you better performance, but if you use a Virtual Machine you will be able to run multiple operating systems side by side. For more info read the sticky: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=145917
A MBP will support any 2.5" SATA HDD. Currently the largest is around 360GB I believe.

Apple released an update for Java at the end of April. That might fix your issue. Make sure you have 10.5.2 installed before updating. Link

Congrats on getting a new MBP!

The MBP supports any 2.5" SATA hard drive at any size. Boot Camp starts Windows natively, while Parallels does it virtually, so if you want best performance, use Boot Camp, but Parallels has its convenience advantages.

And be sure to check out these two guides!

Personally, I like being able to install Windows via Boot Camp and then access that same installation virtually through Parallels.

Sometimes I only need to boot into Windows quickly so then I do it through Parallels without leaving OS X. When I need to do a few more things in Windows and want performance on my side, I'll boot directly into it via Boot Camp.

    I love the flexibility!!
