Rumor on the road said that new MSN for Mac will come soon. The new MSN support video chatting, which I longed for a long time.

Anyway, if the new MSN comes out, I think it will be a good thing for us, but I am not sure of the exact date.

If you know any information, post on this thread

Hmm...the last I heard, Microsoft's Mac division was delaying the next version of Microsoft Messenger for a while...if you really want good video chatting, I suggest you try out Skype :).

Yeah we have to wait until microsoft releases messenger 9 for windows. Something about compatibility between both versions is keeping the mac bu from releasing it sooner.

That'd be awesome for them to finally update Messenger for Mac, however, like Sam & fez said, I don't believe there is going to be a new one for a little bit...

Well, personally I use skype for video chatting, but most of friends do not have skype installed on theit machines so if I ask them to video chatting with me, they would say no.

aMSN's webcam support is okay - sometimes a bit glitchy and slow. Also, it's sometimes hard to tell /who/ exactly can see your webcam. I remember one conversation where my random friend could see me the entire time, and I completely didn't notice.
Same goes for the video chatting. :)
