The NAB show at Las Vegas is tomorrow and I read on a blog that rumours are floating about a new mbp. Does anyone think this is true or have heard about this.

    I'm 100% sure it's false.

Not until the new platform gets out will we see new MBP.
Wait till intels new chipset comes out, then about a month later we should see new MBP.

Besides, everyone knows apple does updates on tuesdays. And there wouldn't be an announcement unless it was a major change. And I'm not sure a 12" MBP or a 15" MB will warrant a big announcement or anything.

He is right, we won't see any updates to the MBP until the new chipset comes out (Santa Rosa). I even doubt that they'll release a new one until they release Leopard. I plan to buy one once the new chipset is out and i'll just update it to Leopard when it comes out because I can't wait that long. Peace.

Never be so sure hollownail ;).

But no, I don't believe that a new MacBook Pro will arrive tomorrow either. Almost for certain is Final Cut Extreme, and maybe Cinema Display updates, but MacBook Pro...nah. Leopard's not out yet, Centrino Pro (Santa Rosa) is just around the corner...unless somehow Apple already got a hold of Santa Rosa secretly :p, I don't think they'll update the MacBook Pro until its out.

I don't think Apple will wait until October to update the MacBook Pro though (for Leopard).
