I'm slightly confused by all these wayward opinions flying around. Does the new MacBook Pro have heat problems with the P9500 and T9600 CPUs or not? Is it only in Boot Camp? I use OS X and Windows, and I play some games, so this is a big issue. I will be buying (or not) in the next 24 hours, so please help me out. Thanks

I would expect some heat issues given the thickness of the machine. I have the older 17 inch Penryn MBP and I don't run anything that gets it hot but my kids' 15 inch MBPs get very hot running games. I've given them external USB fans to cool them down when they get too hot.

That's good to know. The new MBPs sound pretty impressive.
