    New MBP Connection problem

    I just got my new MBP in the mail from FEDEX this morning.
    I quickly found one issue. I'm having problems connecting to my wireless network here in the house. Im using a Buffalo router. Has any one had a problem like this with the buffalo router. I assume that is the root of my problem.

    I do not know, but I think that you should setup your router with the computer first. I once has a problem with my netgear router with pc.

    Please be specific. Some things to try though would be to turn off any security you have on the router, see if it connects at all. When you do turn on security be sure that you are using WPA and not WEP. WEP is difficult to implement on OS X and ineffective anyway. WPA with a good passphrase is much easier to use and far more secure.
