Getting ready to pull the trigger on a new MBP 15,

    My questions:

2.0Ghz vs. 2.2Ghz. Big difference? worth the extra cost? Going to be doing some video editing so I am leaning towards the 2.2.

I would like to upgrade the screen to the HR anit-glare. Anyone have any thoughts on a screen upgrade?

I am holding off on buying addition memory right now, think 4GB will be enough to get started. Is it fairly easy to upgrade in the future?

    Thanks in advance for guidance!

No, there is no observable difference between the 2.0 or 2.2 ghz model unless you'll be doing heavy stuff. Both are very fast and capable. The MAIN DIFFERENCE is the GPU. The 6470m is noticeably weaker than the 6750m.

The screen depends on you. Both are awesome.

Everyone says to upgrade memory by yourself because it's cheaper. There's like a whole library of tutorials on youtube on how to upgrade RAM.

    Screen:

If you're going to work outside, get the anti-glare. If you're working indoors mostly, get the glossy. The only caveat is if you have a light source directly behind you and you can't move it. I have a number of computers (one is a 15" MBP glossy) and it is very annoying if you have a light behind you.

    RAM:

Definitely upgrade to 8GB now. Sell the 4GB on ebay. It'll cost you a net $40. If you have never taken a computer apart yourself, get a friend to do it. It's unbelievably easy. The only thing you absolutely need is a 00 Philips screwdriver. I bought this set for $6 shipped. I can confirm it works perfectly. Screws are stripped really easily. It is a supreme PITA if that happens because Apple screws are not easily replaced for pennies at the hardware store.

    CPU:

Very little difference between CPU. Huge difference between last year, but that's not your comparison. Your biggest performance gains will be from RAM and an SSD (fast sequential read/write) for video editing, not CPU.
