I hope this goes to more places than just Apple. Intel should capitalize on this and make it widely available.

Since it was Apples idea then they should be able to keep it there's aleast for a couple years. It really isn't Intels choice I would think, just Apples.

It's to their best interests to allow it on other platforms. If it does not proliferate, accessories that it will support will not be widely availble, and ultimately, the technology will fail.

It was their idea, but Intel developed it, so I would think since it was Intel with all the blood, sweat, and tears, that it would be their option as to who can use it.

I think this really needs to be a cross platform... look what happened to firewire? apple tried to squeeze as much out of it as possible and it eventually failed. this will do the same unless PC manufactures have access. and same with AMD.
