Ok I am new to Macs and got a new MacBook a few days ago. Already I can see that the HD will be too small so i ordered a new one.

I am using Time Machine to backup my files to an external HD. When I get my new laptop HD is there a way to use the Time Machine backup to put all those files on to the new HD? If so, how?

    Thanks for the help.

Boot from your restore CD's and when the top menu loads, there is an option there to restore from a TM backup.
