Just got my Macbook Pro a few days ago. I had a Macbook originally but it's display thinks blue is the new black so I had to get rid of it!
Anyway, I've always been a Windows user and I'm having a hard time finding the programs I need.

    - DC++ - I need a peer to peer program that has international hubs (specifically European).

    - Peer Guardian

    - Windows snipping tool

    - Crap Cleaner

    Thanks.

    Google is your friend.

I don't know why you would need a cleaner, really. I use app cleaner once in awhile when I'm testing out programs to see what I like. Other than that, OS X does most of the work.

I don't know much about D++ or Peer Guardian on Mac, but Mac has it's own screen capture tool which can be excuted with keyboard shortcuts.

    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1343

    Under "Other commands"

Not as powerful as snipping tool, but something similar.

As for Crap Cleaner, Macs don't really need something like crap cleaner. OS X runs maintenance scripts yourself. What I suggest is something like AppCleaner or AppDelete which will help you delete useless files when you uninstall programs, and then on top of that search for files related to that program using Spotlight to do a thorough delete (usually unnecessary).

    Hope that helped!

Shakespeer is a decent DC++ client, though I got it just to have a client, havnt actually used it extensively over any other app.

As for cleaning, like other users have said, osx does a pretty decent job of it itself. Although you should fix the permissions of your disks from time to time, using disk utility.

There is a peer guardian version for mac http://phoenixlabs.org/pgosx/.

As others said osx is pretty good at keeping its self clean, but if you want to force it to run those scriptd onyx is a nice app.
