I have MBP with Leopard. I have set AFP and SMB file sharing on the apple. now when i network my apple from my XP desktop i can see ALL my HD, public folders etc. The desktop asks for my username and password and i get acess to my entire mac. The first question is how do i stop this? What if i dont want ANYONE including my self to have access to my mac HD?

Now i also noticed (btw no settings on the mac have been changed) that if i try to network the apple from my desktop with a guest account or new username (Unrelated to my apple username) then i only get access to the public folder. How do i set up this up so that it asks for a password each time?

System Prefs>Sharing>File Sharing and you can change the users who have access to your files there.
