Right when i formatted my hdd.
I can see the disk on windows and all the belongings but on mac os after not properly ejecting the disk i dont see it. It shows in disk utility as disk1s2 but i am unable to verify or repair it.
I would think its broken but window can read and write everything perfectly.
p.s. just in case i wont be able to make it work on mac os is it possible to just re-create time machine partition and re-write that timemachine db directory? will TM recognize it?
i am in panic mode

Did you add software to Windows to read HFS+ drives? normally Windows cannot read a Time Machine backup drive at all.
Did you run Repair in Disk Utility? on it? Did you try to manually mount it?
is Windows seeing it because its in a virtual machine? if thats the case the VM might have captured the drive completely from the port (USB?) so OSX cannot mount it. -
Standard windows 7 install in bootcamp, didnt add anything -- it always could read and write from hfs drives couldnt write TO hfs though.
Tried mounting / repairing / verifying -- its failing under mac os. -
ok seems like i got happy too soon, half of the directories on what is supposed to be my time machine back up are greyed out, cant be opened and have a size of 0 bytes
Do you think some specialized firms can restore any information?.. so silly...
What happened is:
I created another partition on my time machine external disk
tried to make it bootable and while i was copying a .dmg image on it it got unplugged... theoretically it shouldnt damage the other partition but it seems like it did.

disk recovery services are not cheap at all, and usually you have to pay for an attempt even if they get nothing.
If Disk Utility cannot repair it... you might be up the creek. I'd never take any risks with my backup drive at the same time i'm taking one with my main drive. -
A family member recently used a disk recovery service and it cost a couple hundred $$. The HDD had a head crash and still they recovered about 1/2 of the contents. If your drive is still good but you've corrupted the filesystem, then I would think it's recoverable.
