I just installed parallels 6 and I have a weird issue. If I allocate more the 2gb of ram to bootcamp the virtual machines keeps restarting. So when I click start virtual machine the black screen will show up and then it will say the virtual machine processor was reset by the operating system and keep on looping that. No idea why I am getting this issue. Might it have something to do with my Optibay Drive, or the fact that I enabled ACHI in windows? With 2gigs everything starts up normally. I have 8gb of ram which should be more than enough. I normally have 4gigs of free ram.

I don't think its any of those issues given the fact that it works fine with 2gigs or less ram.

it is indeed strange, I dont have experience with parallels to help you there, but it would seem that the program is indeed having troubles. try not to disable ACHI the optibay shouldnt be an issue, if that doesnt work, contact the people of parallels
