Need Help with iMovie not working after updating to 10.5.6

iMovie is saying Found a Camera Attached eventhough we don't have camera attached then it shuts down the program.

Does anyone know why all our computers are having this problem after upgrading the OS to 10.5.6 ?

    Thanks in advance.

There might be a problem with iMovie itself, Head over to www.apple.com and go to downloads and try to find the latest update for iMovie the latest version. I had the same problem !

did u fix yours? if so how? we got 4 x apple macs in trouble right now none of them could load imovies since the 10.5.6 update.

Ahh found the solution - 10.5.6 update is buggy and dangerous a lot of folks killed their computer with this update.

I suffered the same problem my macbook pro started then shut down and wont start as it seems but 10 minutes later it restarted itself and i am now able to use it.

however, some of my apps crashes like imovies does so the fix is:

go to /Library/Updates/ <-- and delete the content of the Updates folder (after deleting the content of /Library/Updates folder your macbook or imac will not crash anymore.

the content of that folder is some pblist file - just delete the file and you'll be right.
