    NTFS3g. Open source, works quite well.

    Well you said "accessing", which to me means read, and for that you need nothing - it's built into the system. But if you meant that you wanted write access also, then ntfs3g should be the solution you seek.

    I wasn't very impressed with NTFS 3g the last i used it. I would try the paragon solution if NTFS write capability is a very high priority.

    hmm,after a day of use NTFS 3g works fine...

    NTFS3g does work fine but it is really slow. For accessing the odd file here and there then it is ok. Paragon solution is much much faster though.

    I tried the paragon beta. Messed up my computer. I lost USB functionality. Had to reload OS X

    NTFS3g and i do not find it slow by any means.
    How is your slow?
    My external Fireware drive is NTFS and i do not have any issues with speed at all.
