I checked the health of the battery through the coconut battery utility, it shows that it is only at 92%. What scares me the most is that my macbook is barely pushing 2 months.

92% is a bit low for two months, but I wouldn't worry. Try calibrating your battery, and sometimes just ignoring the number itself; I've had a case where my battery was at 96% health and its now back at 100% battery health randomly.

So I wouldn't worry too much about it! If it drops below 85%, take it to an Apple Store for checkup :).

Through using and recharging the battery, istat reports the health at 100%, coconut battery shows 97%.

And Apple will probably say that it's within normal parameters and not do anything.

I got a brand new Air and the battery health started out at 97%. I called Apple and all they would check was they System Profiler, which said the battery was fine. They don't care what iStat or other 3rd party programs say.

Problem solved! I checked both utilities and after a full charge to 100%, Both report the battery at 100% health!
