My MacBook Pro is behaving funny after wrestling with my wife. Unfortunately the laptop was on a table side when my wife jumped on me and we were wrestling away.

She got my arm and twisted it behind my back i was desparate to get out of the arm bar and neck choke she was applying on me. In desparation I got out of her dealy UFC choke but as a consequence I kicked the laptop off the table by accident.

The laptop flew a few metres and landed hard on the floor. As you could see, this is no way to treat the laptop. Now my laptop is behaving strangely the mouse doesn't respond as it used to.

Will this be covered under warranty?

does it exist as part of apple care?afaik there's no such thing in the apple care agreement....but i may be wrong...why don't you simply bring it to an apple store and tell them it's behaving strangely and omitting the fact that you let it fall down....btw, hope your laptop is not scratched or they'll tell you it's your fault..

No luckily my unibody is not a sony plastic casing other wise my laptop would have been broken by now. I can't belive the screen is still intact after it flew a few metres and landed awkardly extremely hard on the floor.

    Thanks for this tip though.

The Macbook pro unibody is the best invention ever there is only one draw back though - after buying the unibody you will never buy another pc laptop again.

The quality of this Apple unibody macbook pro has set it light years apart from the ugly plastic computer cases.

Since i cant find any pc laptop as sexy as my MacBook Pro i have came up with a simple solution - put pc components inside a blank MacBook Pro cases and build yourself a dream laptop with blu ray with 1920x1200 native screen resolution.

AppleCare does not cover accidental damage. If you broke it, you pay to fix it. Sucks, but thats the way it is.
