Sorry for yet another newb question...
The MBP seems to come with SSD or traditional HD options. SSDs are awesome, but small and expensive. Is there any way of putting in two hard drives? Say a 128 GB SSD and a 750 GB HD? E.g., lots of PC owners play the game of replacing the ODD with a second HD...
Thanks!

OptiBay™ Hard Drive and SSD Drive for MacBook Pro, MacBook, PowerBook G4, and Mac mini
Just one of the many out there. -
That's awesome. It looks like just the trick.
Does anyone have any experience with these? I tried to find a picture of one installed, and couldn't. Do they reuse the ODD's cover to retain the original aesthetics?
This is assuming of course that the new MBP's will actually have an ODD. -
yes, tons of MBP owners here have experience using the optical bay for a HDD or SDD. *edit: SATA III SSDs sometimes have trouble being recognized in an optibay. SATA II are more reliable when used in the optibay. A regular HDD works fine though
Mac's have slot loading and the slot is part of the unibody housing... original aesthetics are retained. -

If you're talking about MBP's for future generations, it will depend. -
If you have a 17 inch MBP or an older 15 inch MBP, you can use an ExpressCard SSD. I've been using a 48 GB ExpressCard SSD for the last 18 months and it has been great. This is on a 2008 17 inch MBP. I also have a WD 1 TB HDD in it.
Multiple drives in MBP?
