Looking to replace the battery on my old 1.83 ghz core duo macbook and i truly do not feel like paying 130$ for a laptop this old. Any suggestions where to find the cheapest/most reliable third party battery?
Thanks

Hmm. I would like to know as well.

The problem with 3rd party battery reviews is that the companies that make them tend to source from many different suppliers. This means that the quality can change from production run to production run. They will take the parts from whoever has the cheapest parts at that moment.
This means when you see a user review for a 3rd party battery that is good and then buy that same battery, you might be getting something build with totally different parts that performs different.
That being said, I have used ifixit for other spare parts and have had only good experiences. They have batteries also but never used a battery from them. The part you would need would be:
MacBook Battery (661-3958, 661-4254, 661-4413) - iFixit -
Thanks for that but sadly looks like all they have in stock is used. Fastmac iv'e seen some reccomended but there still 99$ as to 129$ Apple not a huge difference.

Battery, Rechargeable: MacBook White 13, TruePower - FastMac
Is the highly rated Fastmac one i've come across.
Most reliable/cheap third party Battery?
