    If it doesn't carry sound with it then isn't dual link DVI only necessary?

    you can already just get a dvi to hdmi cable for 8 bucks from monoprice and use it with the dvi dongle.

    some people dont like going dongle to dongle. One cable can really make a difference in the mess you have when connecting things.
