Has anyone used Migration Assistant yet in Lion? I've had an issue twice now with domain accounts that I've migrated - after migrating the profile to the new machine, when you log in as the user permissions to files/folders/apps are changed, and the desktop reverts to the generic Lion background and dock settings. Disk Utility failed to reset the permissions. I've had to use Terminal to go in and change the permissions to the users homefolder, to direct the account there. After doing that, I can log in and the users background, desktop icons, and apps/folders are all accessible to the user. Just wondering what I might be doing wrong - MA is a pretty straight forward process, and I never had any permissions issue's when using it under SL or Leopard.

Did you do a complete transfer with user settings etc? I had trouble with programs opening slow in my HDD equipped mac, but repairing disk permissions fixed that.

The only thing I didnt bring over was any computer settings - typically that will retain the computer name and some other settings.
