All 3 of these programs look very nifty for word processing/taking notes etc. but i'm wondering which is best for what or if there is a better program out there all together. Could someone please fill me in on the pro's/con's of them and what they're good for?

    Thanks :)

I haven't really tried pages. I use Word though.
voodoo pad I don't think is really in the same class.

You won't really find a good program out there thats a great word processor AND a note taker.
Word/Pages is great for doing real papers and documents, but doesn't have any real management for note taking.

Note taker programs, like voodoo pad, omni, and Mori are GREAT for taking notes, but lack some of the more advanced features of word processors. But they have systems developed for note management.

Word. The entire world uses it and if you have to collaborate it is a must. The others seem decent and I really do not like rooting for the big guy, but this is like .pdf, the standard, unfortunately, is a proprietary solution by a commercial company.

    Yup.

I'd recommend using more than one program. Use word for real docs and use something else like Mori or Curio for note taking.

Curio is neat. Reminds me of making power points as your note taking system. But Mori is free :)
