Need to increase the memory for a friends computer, but I am looking for some answers as to which memory and size restrictions I need to make the right purchase

Mac --- 1.33 Ghz Power PC (G4) "non intel" (i think)

Can someone please steer me in the right direction for the following. I will make the purchase from New Egg !

    1. Largest size of Ram available for this model

    2. Proper "Type" of Ram needed for this (G4)

If there is any other info you may need, just let me know and I will provide it as soon as possible.

    Thanks everyone

Head over to Other World Computing. They have a memory selector for whatever type of mac you have. But the 1.33 Power PC macs use pc2700 200 pin ram. The 12" model supports up to 1.25gb of ram and the 15" model supports up to 2gb of ram

Thanks for the info --- This is a 17" Laptop and looks similar physically to the MacBook Pro line. I'm told by her that it is a PowerBook G4. I will check back with her to verify this. I'm looking to upgrade her to the largest memory available.
Since she is 4 States away, I want to get this right the first time. I will check out your suggestion
