I don't think I'm losing my hearing, but it seems like 80% volume now is the same as 50% volume before on my MBP 15 after the 10.6.2 update. I checked my sound output and it is set to internal speakers, which I think is normal(?). Anyone else experiencing this?

    Thanks,
    HCGT

I noticed it yesterday. All the settings appear to be correct, very odd.

Mine seems to be the same (yes, I have 10.6.2.). Hmmmm, testing various settings now as I type this. Mine's perfect. Not sure if my 'older' unit makes a difference... ??? Mine is from Feb '08. (see sig.). I just switched on my external speakers via Creative X-Mod, and everything seems fine.
