    i'm going to be taking computer science (cs) classes in the future and will be needing to run matlab. i was wondering if matlab is compatible with macs. sorry if this has already been posted somewhere

    You can get Matlab for Mac, but Matlab for Windows will not work natively in OS X. You could always Parallels/VMWare/Boot Camp it.

    Yes, there is a Matlab for OS X, but beware that not all of the features work 100%. You'll probably want to use Windows for programming also to make sure everything is compatible.

    I had a lot of issues going between the two OS's, especially when working with GUIDE.

    I have taken a few matlab classes, with no problems.

    Matlab programming works fine in osx. Just make sure that your school has the means of providing the osx installer and license.
