Replaced my first macbook pro because the screen was crap and causing weird effects on certain parts of the screen, now do I have to exchange this one because of weird scratches/discoloration when seen at a certain angle with the light on it? I tried wiping it off with iKlear, it's still there.

this is absurd. when i had a 15" i7 antiglare, the first one had a ding in the screen so i returned it for another immediately... ended up selling it because 13" fits my needs more financially and portability wise.

I'm sick of making trips to the apple store and dealing with them. this is getting out of control. i need to stop being so perceptive about electronic flaws too, it's my downfall.

If you can't live with it, bring it back. It's your money, so complain away. Personally, I'd keep it.

First, ask yourself if it hinders the functionality of your laptop at all. Second, decide if you're anal retentive enough for this to bother you to the point that you'll need to return it.

i would hate having the slightest scratch on my brand new mac. you paid a premium price for it. so, the device should be of premium quality.

I'm not sure when exactly we should expect that to happen ... My old Dell Vostro had that happen roughly a year and a half after ownership.

If your a frequent user of your laptop and use it for long periods of time then expect it to happen within the month. Thats as least what happened for me. And usually wash my hands if I've eaten or done something before i touch my laptop.
