I exported all my photos to iPhoto and seems like i have lost the folder structure and can only see them via iPhoto.

was wondering if there is a way to extract them out to a folder again?

also some of the photos are personal and dont want them to show up in iPhoto...how to hide them?

i find it little confusing to use so any help or links would greatly help.

    thank you.

Since you have a list of things, you might benefit from both a tutorial:

Here's a decent tutorial that should get your sorted out: http://manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/0/MA625/en_US/iPhoto_08_Getting_Started.pdf

It video tutorials are your thing then here's a 45 min guide: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...=SqM3VZ6cgX5OcG59jEcImg&bvm=bv.68445247,d.aWw

Someone might also come along later and give you specific tips on some of your questions.

if you want to do file management etc with folders like you are used to .... don't use iPhoto. it creates a container file and database in which it stores and maintains you photos similar to a floating .zip file. it is simpler for many users however for advanced file management and such is a royal nightmare.
