So my mbp is on the way... *does happy dance*, so now I am facing a little dilemma. I've decided I will get a booq bag no matter what, since everyone that gets one swears by it, and they seem to be worth their high price.

I was decided on the new black mamba pack.

It's a backpack, which is a break from my usual briefcase-type laptop bag, I figured it's easier to carry the backpack while using my phone or ipod touch, or whatever, which is something that was pretty hard to do with my briefcase unless I attached a shoulder strap. It also has room for extra stuff like books or a change of clothes for example. It looks nice as well. The price is $145 plus s&h.

But today, browsing their website ( booqbags.com), I noticed their Viper Exo M:

It's a style I'm more comfortable with, it goes better with the type of clothes I wear. This one is more expensive, it's $215 plus s&h, which isn't really a big deal. The thing with this one is that it would be harder to fit extra stuff like a lunch, for example, or a book (I like to read).

Anyway, I liked the mamba pack from a comfort point of view. But I haven't used a backpack since I finished high school. Since then I've always had a laptop so I've used laptop briefcases from targus or case logic. The Exo looks hot and goes well with what I wear, the mamba pack looks good as well, but not as good as the exo in my opinion, but it would be more comfortable to wear or use.

    To summarize:

    Viper: More style (subjective)
    Mamba: More comfort

What are your opinions? What type of bag do you have for your laptop? What are your experiences with it?

    Thank you all :D

Damn, those are nice bags! I'm really tempted to buy one now! I'd go with the Viper Exo. It looks much more solid and I prefer shoulder bags over backpacks, since you dont have to worry about backing into something Macbook Pro-first and putting stress on the case. But they's just my opinion since I use public transit, and it's usually packed.

Right, I have a car, so that wouldn't be a problem, besides, with the mamba pack, the macbook pro is on my back's side, as opposed to the other end, so I would bump it with whatever I have on the other side of the bag instead of the mbp if I was in a crowded place.

But yes the exo looks more professional.
