Making command-tab function more like alt-tab on Windows

I've been trying to find a way to make cmd-tab function a little bit more like its Windows counterpart. It seems that when cmd-tab'ing my way through open applications, anything which was intentionally minimized previously will not become active, whereas in Windows, doing that will bring to the foreground whatever you select via alt-tab.

It's a bit reminiscent of how OS X doesn't concretely associate the menu bar with the application in the foreground; I've posted about that before, but to no avail.

Anyway, does anyone have any thoughts on the cmd-tab thing? Yes, I realize that OS X is not Windows. It's just that I happen to like both OSes (and installed Windows 7 Pro via Boot Camp today for that reason), so if there's a way I can have a more desired behavior on this, I'd definitely enjoy it.

CMD+tab then hit return when you are on the one you want. But I agree that I don't know why it just doesn't bring it up when you let go.

*edit* OKay, now the windows come forward with out hitting return :|

*edit* NVM I miss understood his question thingy.

    Just ignore me.

CMD+Tab only switches applications, not windows, so it makes perfect since that a minimized window will not come back up.

That said, CMD+` switches between windows in the active app, so it should bring up a minimized window, but it doesn't... not sure why.

You wont need to use alt + tab on a mac, mac osx has a feature called Expose, which allows you to bring up all windows, or all applications, so you see them all but smaller next to each other, then you pick the screen you want.

It's WAY better than Alt + Tab

I'd have to say Expose is a much better solution than Command+Tab as well. It will show all minimized windows along the bottom of the screen so not only can you choose which app/window you want, you know which ones are minimized.

Oh thank you for this! I've been using Witch for a while and it's nice, but feels so archaic compared to, say, VistaSwitcher on Windows. I'll get this thing right away.

By the way, I don't have an Apple laptop, but I know the touchpad has some way to summon Cmd+Tab (I think it was four fingers?). By using PullTab, can I make it open Window Flow instead?
