This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Mail OS X annoying attachment thingy

    When I send a jpg in Mail OS X, the sent mail includes a small size preview of the jpg, which looks lovely in the message.

    However, when it arrives in the Windoze mailbox of my friends and family, they have to deal with the orginal image plus the resized copy, so everything doubles up.

    Anyone know if I can do anything about this annoying behaviour?

    click on the image in mail and say "send windows compatible attachment"

    i believe you can set this as default in mail pref too. somewhere in there.

    i just set that, and never worry about it. Most people i know are running windows im sure
