Has anyone found a better solution to the slow Magic Mouse tracking problem than the "Mouse Zoom" utility?

Does anyone know if Apple has plans to fix the problem, once and for all, with a native OS update?

MagicPrefs is the best utility I've found. Adds all sorts of additional gestures/taps/etc. but I really just use it to increase tracking speed since I've also found the max default setting too slow as well.

    Get BetterTouchTool

That would likely solve all your problems and give you many amazing new options :D

^^^ Looks good too. I'll give it a try tonight too. MagicPrefs was/is good, but I don't like how it HAS to be in the menu bar and not just in System Preferences...at least as far as I know ;)

BetterTouchTool is superior to MagicPrefs, it has like 20 more possible gestures for the Magic Mouse, and not only does it handle gestures for Magic Mouse, it adds a bunch more for the TouchPad as well. it'll replace your old MultiClutch app(if you are using it).

BTT also allows for System Preferences only menu, but I kinda prefer the menu option since it's more accessible when you need to tweak your gestures.

I particularly like the location identification taps, ie; above Apple Logo single finger tap, tip tap left & right, 3 & 4 finger taps, etc.. The power of this tool is almost limitless, and resolves a lot of issues with for previous Mighty Mouse users that had with middle click, squeeze etc.
