My Magic Mouse won't work when I'm using XP in Bootcamp. NOTHING... ZERO features. I cant even move the pointer. I Googled around and found this download http://support.apple.com/kb/DL952 but it says "This update is not intended for this computer and will not be installed"... My versions of bluetooth are old... like 2.0.??? (they don't start with a "3" like they should after this update.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

what bootcamp version are you using? with the new BT driver it worked for me but only as a basic mouse ... no extra features until Apple writes windows drivers for it. and that was win 7 , han'nt had time or the ambition to try XP yet as I discontinued using the mouse

I found "VERSION 3.0" listed when I opened it. (Bootcamp) Does that help?

Whoa... I just rebooted my computer in Snow Leopard and my Bluetooth stuff wasn't working at all. In fact, my computer said I didn't have bluetooth, and the icon at the top in the menu bar had a line through it. I rebooted and no change. Then I physically powered it off, and restarted it and the keyboard worked, but not he mouse, then I re-configured and repaired the mouse and now it works in Snow Leopard. NOTHING in XP.... See my original inquiry....

I tried the link thanks, and it says "We're sorry 404"..... (not able to open the link I guess...?) The latest stuff should be on my Snow Leopard CD. I just bought it a few weeks ago. I ran it once when I first bought it, but now I'm running it again as I type this. My Magic Mouse is "discoverable", and recognized, it's just when I try to use it, it doesn't work. I'll report back shortly. Any other ideas? I was pretty scared a couple of days ago when my bluetooth quit working on the Mac side of the partition.... It's fine now, and hopefully will be once I log back on there shortly after taking another attempt at this.
