 I was wondering how the standard aluminum macbook would fare with runescape in standard and high detail. like serious lag issues or anything? or anything I should know?

Seriously it's runescape a 10 year old computer could run it.
P.S for your own future I would advise to stop playing runescape, it seriously messed up my life.

I actually did stop playing it, but the ocassional "get past this low of boredome" could be surpassed with it :) and one of my friends wants me to get back on >.>

and how ironic, i'm using a ten year old computer right now  I was just wondering how well it would run because I'm so used to lagging and losing connection etc.

It runs Runescape fine. I wish it would run Guildwars... rather I wish they would come out with a Mac version of Guildwars without having to go to Bootcamp. Oh well...

Yeah, I totally lost about 500 hours out of my life because of RuneScape. It's sad, I know...

I lost 2 years of school (not 2 years straight but number of courses lost, 8 courses per year) from runescape and it's after effects. I will never touch a MMORPG again. Runescape = worse then drugs.

Yeah, I lost a ton of studies and grades because of this game. It's seriously more addicting than Meth.

lol I was level 123 in Runescape and sold all my stuff when I went to college for over $3000 :p

I was a botter using SCAR which got me enough money to merchant those pesky party hats and ended up with a couple hundred million GP. I was in Damage Inc for a long time before I quit RS and DI owned the axe hut so I AFK trained while I did HW and stuff. ^^
