That is pretty much old news now, the newer Boot Camp beta finally adds support for the webcam, so you got nothing to worry about there.

Anyways, I think after using OS X, you'll wanna stick to OS X anyways. ;)

Before I forget, hope you enjoy that new gem and we're always here to help.

Ah I see what you mean then.

I don't know if Apple will ever add the IR reciever, if someone here has the new bootcamp beta and has windows installed, they should check their device manager and see if its there and supported. thanks.

How about keyboad problems and the infamous right-click? I'm having trouble with both; I have a MacBook and in windows I can't seem to be able to right click and the keys seem to not do what they're supposed to do. Ayone with help. Thanks.

I would say they run a little hotter, and get a little worse battery life. The problem is that there are no real performance utilities to throttle it down as far as I know unless that was part of the new release.

Yeah, things do run a little less efficient in windows- Vista appears to have better energy conservation and control than XP, but I haven't played with Vista on my macbook.

I'd like to know if there are any utilities we can install that would conserve energy, step down the cpu and gpu when not in use etc.etc.

I read about a few trying to get Vista to run on it, and trust me they all said it was not worth the effort to do it, because pretty much all the drivers that bootcamp gives don't work in vista.
