Hello, I've read the last review made on NBR on Macbooks. The review has specifically stated that there're issues noticed when trying to get Macbook to run vista due to the lack of driver support for a few components of macbook. I've ordered an entry level macbook (white) and I'm wondering if this issue has been solved now with bootcamp or vista itself. Can someone please confirm this? I want to make sure that my macbook can run vista in the future when SP1 releases.

Well, Boot Camp is finalizing in October, so it'll be all done by the time SP1 is out.

From what I've heard (as I do not use Boot Camp personally), Vista runs fine on the MacBook. There's minor drivers missing, such as currently you cannot double-tap the trackpad to do a right-click, but other than that it runs fine. Yes, the GMA 950 runs Aero fine.

It's the 64-bit editions that have driver issues mostly (i.e. lack of official drivers). Boot Camp handles 32-bit editions of Vista just fine, with a few minor issues that Sam pointed out above.

The only thing keeping me from using boot camp more than I use parallels is the lack of tap-clicking. Something which I hope they will fix by the time Leopard rolls out. Also I am using xp, not vista, but I guess you can expect the same behavior with vista as well.
