My Macbook's internet connection has been dropping every time I get online with my iPod Touch. Not sure what's causing it.. it didn't happen before :(

I'm sometimes having the same issue with my MacBook/iPhone. In my case it is my crappy router that assigns the iPhone the same IP-address as the MacBook has. Your solution could be to reserv specific IP-addresses for your MacBook and iPod Touch respectively.

If it is a linksys router like mine, then it is a firmware update. The same think happened when I was on the internet with my ipod touch upstairs, and my brother was on the internet with his MacBook. We called linksys, told them what our problem was, and they gave us a link to a specific firmware update to do. After that, everything if fine now.

If you are at a college or university and are required to login to be granted internet access, it could be that they only allow one device per student.
