    Hello,

Before I make my final choice on purchasing a Macbook, I have a few more questions.

I am a musician, and want a notebook that can record my music, convert it to MP3, and be able to upload it to sites like Dmusic or Youtube.

I play guitar and is it easy to record to the Mac using Garageband? Also, how easy is it to make drum tracks and add other instruments in different keys? I can never accomplish this in the Apple store :(.

The machine is capable of doing it, but I'm not familiar with Garage Band. I'm more familiar with ProTools.

It's basically the same thing, but for home users/non-professionals.

I would get a better mic than what comes built in though... Other than that, you should be good.
My brother used to use his MacBook to record when he was out of the house, until it was stolen, and his friend used his iBook G4 for the same purpose.

GarageBand is really easy to understand. Yeah, its just a bit of learning, and its really good. And if you decide you want to go further, you can get Logic Express :).
