    i got the black macbook, i was wondering how do i update drivers for the x3100?

    Correct, but just to add a little detail:

    You're probably coming from Windows where finding and installing the latest drivers is necessary but time-consuming. Most Apple driver updates, no matter the specific device, are contained in the general OS updates available via Software Update. In other words 10.6.1 to 10.6.2, etc., will contain any driver updates Apple creates during that time; it's very rare for Apple to release a driver update by itself, and then usually only in case there was a flaw or issue with the current driver.

    Basically you can relax; if you run Software Update regularly or have it set to Automatic you're covered and the latest and greatest drivers will always be resident on your Mac.

    if you run boot camp,
    it is the same thing,
    you run apple(bootcamp) update while in windows and that will update everything for you as well.......
