I currently have the latest refresh of the Macbook 13.3" and am running vista through parallels.

I have also installed Warcraft III and it works fine through the virtual machine.

I have a program called Hamachi which lets people join a LAN network without having the same internet connection. This is also being run in the virtual machine with vista

My question is can play warcraft III through the virtual machine on the hamachi LAN network? (i have it running on boot camp vista but prefer not to restart every time i want to play over LAN)

I have tried to but can't seem to find any local games. I am able to talk to the other people on the network using hamachi but can't seem to locate their games (they can't locate my games either). I think it might be the fire wall on mac os x but am not sure?

    Any ideas?

I don't think the firewall in OS X would effect your parallels. I can't think of anything else as I don't run windows. Sorry.

I'm pretty sure there's only one version that's both PC and Mac compatible.

That's the way it is with every Blizzard game - Diablo, WoW, Starcraft, etc...
