Hey all, I just acquired a used macbook with the core duo 2ghz and 1gb of ram. Coming from a pc laptop, the trackpad feels really sluggish. I decided to pair it with my bluetooth mouse and even that feels sluggish (new batteries). Has this been adressed before?

I'm not in front of my Mac right now, so I can't easily direct you, but if you go into Preferences you can adjust the mouse properties.

Well the overall tracking of the touchpad + mouse on OSX is a tad slower than on Windows XP. It's not that much slower though. It takes a while to get used to if you were once used to a hypersensitive mouse on the XP.

Go to System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Trackpad and adjust the Tracking Speed.
